Who I Am Is Simple

We all have many aspects to our person… personality, opinion, taste, family, friends, hobbies and work. Who I am may be similar or dissimilar to you, in terms of who we are. But we are “we” and that inherently does bring us together.

I am

a person

who feels strongly about

equity, empathy and kindness.

I work

as an artist

because

I need

to express connection and emotion

through form, color, line and plane.

But mostly

I want

to have peace,

a place where my mind can be quiet,

and where I’m accepted without question

and where everyone else can as well.

I strive

to respect our beloved planet Earth

and all it has to offer

in its support of my creative practice

and all of our lives as we live and love.

I will

act in accordance with who I am,

what I need, and

what I want

to ensure I share my gifts and blessings.
